Firstly, the scores are written using a special font called SimpleErHu.
The font is actually embed in the PDF files, hence most of you should be able to view the scores properly. However, for those who cant, or for those who wants to create or edit the numbered sheet music, click here to download and install the font. For editing, please download the package from http://simperhu.weebly.com/
To install the font , copy the font from where you downloaded it to in your computer to your font folder.
In windows, the font folder can be accessed by going to Control Panel and clicking on "Font".
Secondly, the documents are in PDF format.
So you would need to download and install a suitable reader.Recommended:

Lastly, you need a suitable instrument.
As stated, a wide range of instruments (especially chinese ones) is suitable, notably flute, harmonica, piano, guitar and others who can play up at least 3 octaves of notes and the various scales.Enjoy!
